Expecting it years and a baby later is what’s nuts. He didn’t just all of a sudden become this way but married him regardless.

Haven’t read all the reps but sounds like it could be high functioning autism, depending on other factors and symptoms, of course. As a veteran HS instructor, I teach 1-3 students with HFA each year. Most of them are male, and many make jokes like this, usually in an effort to bond. Another possibility is bipolar, though less likely. My close relative has bipolar and when manic (or getting there) makes jokes that don’t really make sense or are not funny to anyone but them.

OP here. I don't know honestly. He says he was trying to be funny. If his jokes were geared towards other people or something like that it wouldn't be a big deal. He also called me a witch yesterday.

You've been married for 10 years and he has always sucked at compliments. At this point you need to accept that he's just not that kind of person. If he is otherwise a good spouse just accept that this is his weak area and stop setting him up for failure.

OP here: haha yeah maybe. I lost all my baby weight and my baby is 8 months old. I'm in great shape. My husband doesn't compliment my body either. I'm sure there are lots of men who would be interested and appreciate the hard work I put into taking care of myself.

Just wait and see how many men will be throwing themselves at you when they find out you have a baby... it will be a rude awakening for you.
