Long story short, DS suffered lots of cuts and bruises but had no broken bones. At the time, his pediatrician, after consulting with the overseas physicians, told us that he did not believe in higher powers, but someone must have held this child mid air to survive such a steep fall with minimal damage.
I would call this a freak accident; not a miracle.

My friend was driving me and my infant daughter.
We were stopped at a red light and I’ll of a sudden she changed several lanes over. She looked at me so scared and said the voice said move
A large truck came speeding down the street and hit the car that had been in front of us. He would of rear ended us if she hadn’t moved

Obviously not a miracle for everyone else on the plane, especially the standby passenger who took his place when he missed the flight. So objectively I have a hard time considering it a miracle - it was good luck for one person and bad luck for someone else - but he definitely felt like there was a guardian angel watching out for him that day.
I guess the guardian angels of all those people who died on the plane were taking a break when it went down. I wonder if they get in trouble with God when so many of them fall down on the job like that the same time.
You don't know anything about those people and what they have done in their lives.
I know those people are dead - so can't be doing anything in their lives.
You don't know what they have done in their lives prior to their death, and why them, and not another person was on that plane.

I was an inexperienced driver and as soon as I realized what happened a supreme calm came over me and my car felt like it was guided to the shoulder of the road. Literally all the traffic around me opened up and my car just floated to side--that's exactly what it felt like. It did not feel like I was driving on flat tire. To this day I don't know how I got to the side and it truly felt like something else was moving vehicle.
