Go out. If the cops stop you, they'll ask you to go home. It's only after you disobey that you'll get issued a citation.

And we're lucky we got asked to go home! In NYC, Philly, Seattle and LA they are beating the 5hit out of peaceful protesters for sport.

MPD did a decent job during the early days of the protests but the curfews were completely unnecessary and unethical. Oh boo hoo, a little property damage.

Great decision. In NY, the curfew just gives cops a reason to wild out. End that, and you get peace.

Good grief. No, it wasn't.

Yet downtown and elsewhere the cops are not enforcing the curfew against the protestors, who surely will be followed by the looters.

Bowser is an embarrassing joke.

Curfews are dumb. It's just a way to give the cops an excuse to beat people up.

Nobody is looting.

People are protesting peacefully, which people have a right to do.

Not when there is a curfew
Not when there is a pandemic

I’m glad we left DC.

Yes when there is a curfew.
Yes when there is a pandemic.

Seriously, this is basic First Amendment stuff. You know, the part of the US Constitution that has said

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

since 1791.

Maybe, before you left DC, you should have spent some time outside the Newseum (before it closed), reading these words engraved on the building.

Except when SCOTUS says otherwise like they just did last week. The first amendment doesn't apply during pandemics which isn't cool.
