its conditioner that slowly adds color the more you use. Makes your hair soft and washes out after a few times. My diaghter wanted pink hair. Got it on amazon

But bleaching sounds too much trouble nd risk than I could handle so will try overtone and wax as suggested.
The truth comes out. This is a really bad idea. You do not alter your daughter’s hair in any way without her Mom’s approval. WTF are you thinking???
Nah, go for it, Pops. It'll wash out and mom can just be mad.

Completely disagree. You don’t make decisions like this without your spouse.
Do you think mom consults him about all the other hair decisions in the house? What if he was taking his son to get a buzz cut? If my spouse did something like this, I might be upset but not divorce-worthy. I'd probably be glad he's taking such an interest in what his CHILD wants. OP knows his wife better than we do.
When it comes to changing appearance of a child such as hair dyeing, ears pierced, yes I think a quick discussion Is warranted. A buzz cut for a boy isn’t a big deal but I would expect a heads up if my son hadn’t had that style yet. Some
Moms don’t like that look. Just like some Moms wouldn’t appreciate their kids’ hair being dyed in secret. The fact is hair dye damages hair. OP wants to keep this a secret bc he knows Mom doesn’t approve. Shady. So glad I’m not married to an idiot like him.
