Agree and some of the full time staff, if can't coach- should go. Some clubs - like Bethesda were going with staff who had no capability to coach or did limited coaching, that just doesn't make sense to carry staff like that.

I imagine some coaches/directors who know the paychecks are likely to stop rolling in might consider other employment opportunities.

Yea, they'd probably be doing their workers a favor by letting get on unemployment now while the extra $600 are still being paid out. They don't have any real work to do except for desperately trying to make online learning work. Rehire them in the fall when things get back to normal and if they don't, 2 extra months of playing pretend zoom soccer isn't helping anyone.

As long as they don't have bloated Admins and office space it's a highly variable model. If they laid off their workers while this blows over, the workers could be collecting $800-1200 a week depending on PT or FT status.

A few youth soccer podcasts have mentioned most clubs should be fine until July, if kids are not back out on the fields in the fall then we may lose a lot of clubs
