I feel like him accepting her request is allowing her back into our lives. Its not like he decided to leave her because he felt bad...they got into an argument and she told me about their relationship. Otherwise, I would have never known....

Why are you still with him?

OP here again: Thank you all for your support, it's really helped me push through this. He's currently removing his remaining belongings from my house while I'm at work.

''as a man'', ha? Sure.
OP, you made a mistake forgiving him in the first place. He is man whore.

Good for you OP! I'm proud of you for kicking him out and ending things.

From my own experience, I can say someone who is a cheater and boundary pusher will always do things like this sort of inappropriate talking to an ex as long as there are no horrible consequences for him. He was having his cake and eating it to, so why would he stop?

Seriously good for you. You may feel horribly now but you won't regret this later in life.

If you feel deep down it was the right thing, it was the right thing. You showed strength, good for you.

As a man ... you did not overreact imo. DTMF if he doesn’t “get” it.

Another one who lacks reading comprehension.

No. It’s kind of beyond comprehension. It’s something OP is going to have to ask herself in order to move forward.

He is NOT still her boyfriend.

I know. But to move forward she needs to understand why she picked him, and stayed with him, when she deserves so much better.

OP, you say he was with her long term, but how long term are we talking... a month? 3 months? a year?

Anonymous wrote:I think that was too much cheating too early in a relationship to forgive in the first place, but at this point, yes, you need to leave him.
