For me, I almost voted for Jealous. I realized that I was about to vote based on my dislike for Rs. I didn't like his pot policy, but his campaign was poorly run. How can he run the state if he can't run his campaign. I also liked that Hogan told MCPS to basically shut up, and start school after Labor Day. I was sick and tired of starting school in August and having 2 school days and then a long weekend right away, and then 5 days off in September. I was disappointed when Hogan caved in to schools' nagging.
Like it or not, we are now run by what connections you have.

Situations like this identify who the leaders are. Could we get a Hogan/Cuomo ticket, please. I give no F's which party either of them are.

Fed govt has been. The issue with doing it this way is that it is slower. But you do get a consistent product and maybe cheaper.

But the Fed Govt has been purchasing from around the world. Look, I am a hard Dem, but to say that the Federal Government is not looking out for the gov't writ large is irresponsible. There simply is not proof otherwise. This does not eliminate the possibility of picking up another 500K for a state through their own negotiations. Just remember that as you crush the federal govt, the worker bee's are primarily a-political workers who work regardless of what party is in and run the machine behind the scenes. They don't care who is in office. Their report titled 'Where the world manufactures ventilators.' still gets pushed up.

The federal government has NOT been.

The federal government has been selling supplies to other countries. The federal government has been telling states to bid against each other on the open market. And the federal government has been seizing supplies the states bought on the open market.

Here's the proof.

Total federal failure and then actively making everything worse. What a disgrace.

In the grand scheme of things it's good that he's our Republican governor. I don't agree with Republicans on anything but I also don't agree with a one-party system. He and new left-leaning faces in the legislature complement each other well.

As long as they actually get things done and not just end up in partisan gridlock.

Coronavirus = case in point. They are getting things done.

Hogan and ELRICH are even working together. And they can't stand each other.

No shit. But PP is specifically congratulating himself for voting for Baker, who was not actually the Dem candidate.

DP. Rushern Baker ran in the primary, as you know. I voted for Baker in the primary, too. I would have voted for Valerie Ervin, but she withdrew from the race.

Look around you. There’s your proof. MD is a sh!tshow thanks to him.

And I’m delighted by it, because I was one of the few here who voted for Baker.

Sleep in the bed you made, sellouts and racists. You wouldn’t support an AA Democrat, and now this is your reward for that. The 7th highest number of cases in the country, with just a small percentage of the overall population.

Brought to you by hogan.

You know Baker lost the primary, right? The gubernatorial race was Hogan vs. Jealous.

Who I believe is also AA.

How many tests do the hospitals in Maryland and Maryland Government facilities have before they got 500,000 from South Korea ???

How many of the 500,000 will they use by Fall ??? If they test 10,000 a day, that would take 50 days.

Plus, these tests cost $9 million. That is a LOT of money. To what end?

The tests can have lots of false negatives, apparently. How does this mean we get back to work quicker.

I like Hogan, but not sure this was the best use of money.

The state budget is about $48,000,000,000. $9,000,000 is 0.02% of that. It's not a lot of money, especially if it helps us get out of the stay-at-home order, which means more economic activity, which means more tax revenue.

That's right, we wouldn't. Balto is ran by Dems for decades - every Mayor is caught stealing. It has nothing to go with racism, but everything to do with the management style.
Absolute majority is happy with Hogan.
new orlean's mayor is AA and Dem - look what's going on there. She didn't even cancel Mardi Gras in the middle of full blown pandemic.
Sorry you are unhappy.

Hogan is financially wildly corrupt too, but he is pretty good at hiding it.
