Uh, yes. This is a better outcome than bringing guns into it. But thanks for comparing a place of business to a home. Complete alignment there. Well done.

+1

Better a stolen TV than a lost life.

Sounds like the 2A nutters sure want to spill blood.

I have no problem when a store owner or worker stands his or her ground against some thug who is hellbent on taking their livelihood, if not their life.

I'm a lib, I'd have trouble convicting the shooter.

Anyone?

He was denied bond because he had four prior assault and battery charges and protective order that prohibits him from possessing a gun. So I’m thinking yes, he’s still in jail.

So the penalty for petty theft is death?

Good to know...

I’m fine with that.

They smashed a store front open. It’s not “petty theft”. How can you make excuses for those people??

Even in Saudi Arabia the punishment for theft isn’t death. They just chop off your hand. They don’t shoot you in the back.

Who knew Saudi Arabia was a haven of liberal permissiveness compared to Arlington, Virginia?

Do you understand what losing your hand means? Have you ever gone through the day without one hand? You can no longer drive. You can't work most jobs. I'm guessing in Saudi Arabia it means you become a beggar.

I know a woman with no arms OR legs, who drives.

Losing a hand is pretty manageable.

Great! The procedures for repealing an Amendment are spelled out right in the Constitution.

Good luck with that. Hope you’re not holding your breath waiting for all those need states to sign on in support of it.

That would at least be fair.

I wish there was a way that gun nuts only shot gun nuts.

That would at least be fair.

When gun nuts break into a store, they can be shot too. Guns do not care who they shoot.

If you don't want to be shot when breaking into a store, what's the easiest way to ensure that does not happen?

Take away 2A rights.

Well I guess you better get started kicking down people’s doors and searching their houses for those evil guns.

Oh, you’re not going to do that yourself? No courage for your convictions I suppose.

Unlike you, I’m not a cowboy vigilante.

We will change the law. If you choose to break it that’s on you.

Does anyone know what the protective order was about? Shouldn't that be public information if it was issued by a court?
