Yes you can just ride and it shows your metrics so you can see how fast you’re going and hard you’re working. But you can’t watch other things like Netflix on the peloton screen, so you’d need to be in front of a tv or put an iPad in front of the screen. I believe that there is some kind of hack to get the screen to do other things but not sure how or whether it risks damaging the screen set up
