I agree. But two people can talk about this like adults. Loudly walking in and out of the bedroom isn’t the way to go.

Also, we don’t know the deal. Maybe he works late, and breakfast is the only time OP gets to see his daughter. Maybe they are retired and neither of them work. Maybe he likes to fix himself some complicated breakfast every morning, and he fixes something for his daughter too.

Sounds like you live in a house. How can you not keep quiet in a house? We live in 1-bedroom apartment and I can get up and DC ready without waking DH.
DH on the other hand wakes me every morning with the light from the closet and won't turn it off until he leaves.
How long have you been doing it for her to lose it like that?

NP here. Maybe, just maybe, he had a fight with her at 8, then he had to take his kids to school, get to work, and actually work for a while before he had time to get on DCUM to post.

If you're a SAHP who doesn't understand what a day with school drop-offs and work is like, you shouldn't be giving OP the third degree.

OP, are you the poster with the daughter (only child) who is about to go off to college, and you've been posting for years about the dysfunction in your home?
