We want real, meaningful change. We have since 2008 with Obama.
Only a true populist, Bernie will motivate voters to come out and beat Trump.
Nope. I just want some sense of normalcy. "Fixing" things Trump has damaged. Fill court seats. Take a deep breath. And in 4 years, maybe the D's will have someone inspiring that can work across the aisle to get things done. Young. Energetic. Inspiring.
Also, I'm hoping Moscow Mitch will take a short walk off a high cliff in the intervening years so someone in the senate will ALSO be open to working across the aisle.

That’s why people are voting for him. Biden has lots of people, smart and talented people, waiting to work for him again. Maybe do things differently. Maybe put in mode protections against corruption.
But he has people.
Also, if Bernie is on the ticket congress will be really red and nothing will get passed.
This is one of the strongest arguments for Biden I have seen

Agree with you on all points, many times over.

Biden can fill judge seats and cabinet positions. We need to reboot our diplomacy. We need to have people who have the experience to fix what trump did internationally. We need someone who won’t try to overhaul everything into some crazy plan and divide the country even more. We need someone who can implement changes to make things better.
And we need someone who isn’t a socialist. I know Dems will vote for Bernie if they have to, but I think republicans will come out in full force to make sure it doesn’t happen. I also think there is a silent portion of Dems that just won’t vote for Bernie in the general.
So Biden it is.
Sigh.
Although Warren is a little left for me, I would prefer her. I think she would get a slightly less progressive version of her plans passed, and I am all right with that.
However, my burning question today: Is a vote for Warren in Virginia's primary a wasted vote? I have two main concerns in this election - stopping Bernie and then stopping Trump. Do I have to give up my vote for Warren in favor of Biden?
