Disagree. Voters said the same thing about a black president. Hillary won the popular vote.
Don't muddy the waters!
+1. Most people don’t follow politics. If they don’t know a name, they’re going with a name they know. Sometimes its that simple, especially for many of the simple minded.
Agree. Biden is a name they know and that's ok. Pair him up with Klobuchar and that will catch the attention of moderates, who do follow politics very closely. I'm going to keep quoting this moderate poster from thread. Not sure why no one paid attention to it. I'm posting it on other threads until I'm blocked lol.
"As a Trump supporter, I am really glad that the Democrats in SC gave Biden a win. This makes me much less worried about Trump losing the next election. Biden is someone I could support being President. I still prefer Trump, but Biden is okay with me too. I hope he brings along Amy Klobuchar or Andrew Yang as VP. That would really make me pause before checking the box for Trump."

I think at least one moderate alternative to Biden needs to keep running in case Biden dies. I’m fine with Biden as the nominee, but he looks shaky.
Or in case he keeps talking and reveals his declining mental faculties. It's sad to watch.
Except Biden will be running against trump who is so, so, so much worse off.
President Biden will be fine.

Klochubar and Buttigieg have no path to victory. Bloomberg has been a disaster. If you don't want the Democratic Party to turn into Jeremy Corbyn's Labour Party, it's time to get behind Joe Biden. Now.
Word. I'm hoping he'll pick a moderate like Amy for his running mate.
It had to b Kamala or Stacey Abrams, period.
