Together 21 years. Dinner, lots of time together after said dinner and box of cosabella the next day with a card. I’m lucky and thankful it’s still like this.

Deeeep buzzer noise. This one is cancelled. Since you didn't love it, it wasn't an awesome thing. Please read the title of the thread next time.

DH is sending me on a surprise weekend with some girlfriends for some much needed R and R while he watches the kids.

DH got me few dozen flowers, a couple pairs of expensive shoes that I had been eyeing for few week but couldn’t decide if I wanted to splurge on, got my car detailed and made spa appointments for me. We are going away for spring break in a few weeks and be arranged for in laws to come spend a couple days with our son so we go to really nice resort for a few days.

And I saw the confirmation email from some adult stores and lingerie stores. Based on what I saw it will be be a fantastic few days.

Friday day: Got me two vintage bags I'd been eyeing up. Brought some sushi and sake home for us to enjoy right before our couples massage he booked (all the kids were in school).

Yesterday: Two of our kids are born this week so earlier this week he set up the parties and bought/prepped/made BBQ ribs etc for the parties. Helped me clean the house/shampoo the dogs.

Today: We put in the underlayment/heated floor for our bathroom reno. Now he is cutting tile and I'm laying it... just waiting for him to mix up the next batch of mortar... while I hang with the kids and have a cocktail.

Misfire. What did he do for you?

He did the same for me. We both were pretty happy. We ordered in pizza and watched a movie. Perfect for us both!

He got me macaroons from a French Bakery and they were delicious. We’re not big on holidays like Valentine’s Day, but he knows macaroons are my favorite and it made me happy that he remembered.

He grilled steaks, and I made sides. He bought flowers, brought home a nice bottle of wine.
It was a nice day--this is all I want for Valentine's - good meal, time with family.

He came home with cards, gift cards, and flowers for our daughter and me. He ate the dinner I made and asked for seconds.
