I started a thread on here recently looking for t-shirts you can wear without a bra (jury’s still out, waiting in some orders).

I am a small A cup and I hate it. The only time I think it is useful to me is when I’m running or working out, a sports bra does keep things from flying around, especially since my breasts are a lot softer since baby and breastfeeding.

But it’s never comfortable. I think a big part of the problem is that bras are generally not designed for small breasts. There is so little for a bra to lift on my chest. To get an appealing shape, I need a very snug band, and I find it constraining plus it aggravates my skin.

I really loved being able to go days and days without a bra during the more locked down part of Covid. And during the winter I’ll go back to this. It’s harder this time of year, especially now that I interact with school on a daily basis. I feel more self conscious without a bra at my kids school than I do at work or socially.

I’ve had breast cancer, a mastectomy, and reconstruction, with the result that my nipples are hypersensitive. I wear a bra constantly, even at night, as a sort of protective device.

Do they know you're not wearing one? How/why do they give you grief?

Probably because men look. Other women hate that

I don't mean to insult people, but I think this is an issue larger women have. It digs into fat.

Wrong. I’m thin and can’t wear underwire. There is very little/no cushion and the (correct size) underwire will dig into
my breastbone and give my a cause a red sore spot by the end of the day.

I wear wireless non padded and am a A cup and they are prefectly comfortable. But I do go without at night and on occasion in the day since I’m small
and there isn’t much to flip around

Loved wearing one before cancer. It really alters your profile if worn correctly. I even loved the underwire more than without.

I feel gross without one and was only a 34b or 36c.

I'm the same size as you and hate wearing a bra.

I can't give an exact answer to this question because it depends on many factors. In winter, the bra is insanely helpful against the cold. It's nice to wear at this time of year. In summer I would not say I like it. When it's boiling outside, I don't wear it. I'm also annoyed by regular push-up bras. I can't understand how girls wear them; it's uncomfortable. Although, everyone has his own opinion. Maybe I think so because I'm used to bracelets or because I've been using underwear only this brand shop.join-eby.com. It is insanely comfortable, does not restrict movement, and sometimes I even sleep in it. So, personally, my desire to wear a bra depends on my mood. Probably, many girls will understand me.

I only mention it, because that's the only time I'm actually aware that I like wearing a bra. The rest of the time I'm just wearing/not wearing one without giving it a thought. I don't find them at all uncomfortable or constricting, do find them supportive--34C.

I could have written this, down to the bra size.

Yes, otherwise I will have to hold my breasts at the slightest bump in the road.

I hate wearing one. I am small chested. I can’t wait to take it off at night.
I also hate tights, knit tops with tight sleeves, and anything else that is tight to my body. I much prefer wide, loose, flowy clothes.

I don’t mind it in the morning when I put it on, but 5pm and beyond it’s like a vice.

I don't think about it actually, it's just something I do. But yes when I get home after a long day, suddenly it feels confining and I need to get it off.

Pre-kids I was an A-cup and often took my bra off at home.

Post-kids I'm a C-cup and always wear my bra, often sleeping in it, I need the support.

I never wear underwires, and my bra is cotton, so relatively comfortable. The only time I really hate it is in the summer, when it gets hot.
