So no matter what cheating mechanism the GOP enlists THIS time, we should just roll with it?

The "liberal pocketbook" are the blue states and urban areas that are much more affluent and where people understand "taking care" of their fellow human beings who might be in need. Washington DC has a budget reserve that puts it among the top in the United States, with a top rating from the three rating organizations, and yet, it also has among the most generous social safety nets in the country in terms of food, housing, education, mental illness and medicine, you name it. It certainly isn't perfect but it certainly isn't ridiculous where state services are concerned.
And, no, liberals do not support abortions on demand to the delivery date. That is simply fake news. In extreme cases where the fetus isn't viable or the life of the mother is at stake, there is sometimes no choice but to intervene in the third trimester, but otherwise, no one volunteers to have a late term abortion like that. Please stop posting lies.
Generic "liberals" may not, but the Democratic Party DOES. That is your problem. Deal with it.
No one is promoting abortions in the third trimester unless it's an extreme and tragic circumstance. These are wanted children whose parents are devastated by the loss. I know someone who found herself in this situation and finding a provider to help her during that awful time was difficult, because of people like you who spread lies and other extremists who do things like kill doctors who perform abortions. It has made providers who can provide this care in these awful situations scarce.
Shame on you for your propaganda that endangers women.

I agree that both are trash, but for different reasons. There is no left wing equivalent to Fox. MSNBC tries, but it's a pale shadow. It has a former Republican Congressman on for like 15 hours a week. When Fox gives a former Democratic Congressman that much airtime, we'll talk. CNN's big bias - and MSNBC too, for that matter - is that it wants to keep you emotionally invested enough to watch through the commercials. The easiest way to do that is to make you anxious or angry. So, they give you the bad news. They fill airtime with cheap to produce shows with people voicing opinions at each other. Ca I ble news is hot garbage.
This is 100% accurate.

Beautiful analogy, accurate, not offensive or mean-spirited, and one of the best I’ve seen on DCUM on the characterization of our country. Thanks for this.
