This is just a study citing a trend with some factors for the whys of it but I know plenty of people that contradict this even though they say there are more that follow this trend.
I haven’t heard the slim thing (and I’m definitely an exception) but I’ve heard that prettier women tend to have girls. I have noticed that, including myself

- Younger age of mother
- Less environmental pollution
- Higher protein diet
- Sex during ovulation rather than 1-2 days before

Why do you want a boy? What makes them better than girls?
I want a boy because we have 2 girls and I know DH wants a boy. I wouldn’t mind 3 girls though.
That send perfectly reasonable. I don't know why others are giving you a hard time about that.

I was super thin and athletic and had two boys. Guess I am the exception in this study. I did however ate a lot of spicy food and I read somewhere (post kids) that this increases boy chance.

Yes. All the older parents have girls for the most part! I know girl embryos are stronger and more likely to survive than boys...
I’m a boy mom and know lots of older parents with boys. The best/only want to increase your chances of a boy is to do IVF with gender selection.
