This was in reference to the "what's wrong with short?" comment. Of course all human variation in height is ok. But let's get real. The average American woman is 5'4. Being a couple inches off that really isn't a big deal, especially if the women in your family tend to be around the same size. In our case, our daughter is likely not to hit 5' in a family whose women average over 5'4. So yeah, for us, it does create a bit of a concern, the main one being is this a generic variant or is she not getting the proper nutrients she needs or is puberty being delayed etc.
There's short - and then there's the kind of short where you may want to use a booster to drive.
