You do understand that (1) some families have kids in both public and private and (2) some private school parents are more clear-eyed about the private school experience than others?

Everyone here went to high school. Cigarettes, alcohol, and some drugs were at every school. Surely we weren’t dinosaurs, and the same sort of thing is true today, just with vapes instead of cigarettes.

I find this hard to believe.

So it's quite open?

DP: A few years ago, my son's friend was there on a high school shadow day and was offered a vape that was passed around a group of kids.

A group of GDS students is trying to get vaping outlawed, but the school itself is not enforcing no vaping?

Not actually true of "every" school, but many.

Of course at any school unless they have zero students. To think otherwise is absurd.

Then again people think schools that preach abstinence only works.

Kids want drugs kids get drugs and if it’s not at school it’s at home . Welcome to reality.

Seems relevant. Are you discounting it?
