Do we know anything about the shooter and his motives?

God only knows how many people would have died if not for the good guy with a gun.

I'm suspicious of the whole thing. I think it was a set up that got out of control. Like the plan was hatched to make it appear that gun nutters saved the day, and everyone was in on it, only the guy wasn't supposed to shoot to kill. And when he did, the other conspirator killed him to cover it up. The whole thing is fishy. It's like they wanted to create a perfect scenario that they could point to, except it didn't go right and they killed him to cover it up. I wouldn't put anything like that past ammosexuals.

The only way this will stop is for us to vote out the those impeding gun control.

What is your plan to remove more than 3 million firearms off the street from people who will not voluntarily relinquish them?

Then they will be disarmed by force. They want a battle with the US government? We have an Army that would be happy to oblige them. See how much good your ar15 is against tanks, helicopter gunships, and jet fighters. If they survive to be captured, they should then be executed as seditionists.

It is unconstitutional for the US military to operate on US soil. I guess the states can individually call in the national guard, but do you think the governors of Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Georgia, et al will call in their guardsmen to round up people and their guns? Doubtful. I know it’s anecdotal but I personally know many LEO officers who have stated they will not go door to door collecting weapons. That sentiment is widely held. But okay with your delusions if you really think the US is going door to door to search and to collect individual weapons from the homes of US citizens.

I didn't say it was going to happen tomorrow... but it'll happen. With help from other countries, if necessary, if our own police and military aren't willing to follow orders and uphold the law. The US can petition the United Nations for assistance with that.

Until such time as one of them becomes a spree killer or orders their security detail to commit a mass shooting, I'm ok with them keeping their guns. What I'm not ok with is Joe Sixpack trumptard keeping his. Because he's shown he can't be trusted.

But I'm ok with Warren Buffett or Mark Zuckerberg having guns. Or bodyguards with guns. They aren't going to shoot me while I'm at Temple.

So, you are ok with the wealthy and the celebrities owning guns but the general populace not having that right?

I thought I made that clear. Are you really that dense that you just asked that?

I think the PP just wanted your socialistic nightmare solution clarified.

Is "socialism" that magical place/time where trumptards can't shoot me just because they don't like LGBT people? Because if so, then let's have some socialism right now, please!

I understand. But there is a better option. That is to have strict gun control - permitting guns on a need to own basis.

The Venezuelan government took the guns from the people back in 2012. Now, they're shooting them.

2A is not a need to own amendment.

Bottom line: you aren't getting the guns. Ever.

Bottom line, in two more generations, there won't even BE guns. Or gun owners. Your type will be extinct.

Fantasy.

Democrats: Good guy with a gun stopped alot of people from being killed. Until you acknowledge that fact, you sound dumb.

Republicans: Two innocent people were still killed. This isn't a win for guns. And you sound stupid when you claim it is.

You know what would be refreshing? If someone admitted that they have no idea why mass shootings occur or how to stop them.

Getting those nra talking points out there, huh?

Yup. Another gun humper pretending to be sane.
