you need to settle down guy. the pamphlet you linked says the minimum dimensions are 18'x8.5'. By your logic I take it every space in moco is the absolute minimum size and therefore it's impossible for a Suburban/Yukon to park inside a spot.

But fortunately the Suburban owner in question doesn't come to Montgomery County, because they live ON CAPITOL HILL WITH A SUBURBAN. It's hard to imagine anything more ridiculous.


I’m baffled that a family of 7 would live on Capitol Hill. We moved the minute I found out I was pregnant.

Someone living in the MD exurbs visiting a DC proper parenting board is having a panic attack over my choice of family vehicle. It's obvious you can't wrap your brain around a family being in a situation where a Suburban might make sense. Try broadening your horizons a little bit, for you that might mean spending your weekend at Montgomery Mall instead of Rio.


Not everyone can afford to raise a family in the city and send their kids to private. It might have been outside your social circle but there's a lot of families w/ kids in Capitol Hill.

We're a family of 4 not 7. Me, spouse, 2 kids. ILs retired and bought nearby, when we spend time with them we typically use one car.

Well I'm usually only towing the camper or the boat long enough to get OUT of Montgomery County, so it's not likely that you are going to see me driving around on a regular Monday through Friday towing one of those around town.

What's in the trailer?


At about 15,000 miles annually, about half the miles driven annually are at full capacity. About half of those, we are pulling a camper or boat.
