What that tells me is that the kid hasn't had time to rest and recover, so they are more likely to catch other viruses since they're already run down. Stop making your sick kids fit into your schedule. They are not widgets to manipulate around to avoid inconvenience to your schedule. Get it together and actually prioritize your kids for once.

You should check this out. It’s not normal to have a cold for 6 months. Maybe if they were given a chance to rest and heal...

Anonymous wrote:I had several kids come to school last week only to be sent home within a couple of hours due to fevers and vomiting. All of them told me or the nurse that their parents gave them medicine before sending them to school. The illness spread through our class throughout the whole week. I had a mild case of whatever was going around (no fever, but lots of coughing and some body aches). And then of course it hit two of my family members (husband and son). They will hopefully feel better for Christmas, but it sucks. And I use Clorox wipes a few times a day to wipe down tables, chairs, computers, doorknobs etc. Parents need to keep their sick kids at home.
