He is absolutely on his A game when it comes to constituent services. On several occasions, his office has been incredibly helpful in solving issues (as diverse as mail delivery, traffic pattern in our neighborhood, immigration issue, obtaining a passport quickly). For this reason alone, he has my vote.
How exactly did he solve the “immigration issue”?

2nd term Congressman. His wife was the Dep Sec of Treasury under Obama and a member of the Fed Reserve and is often named as a potential Sec Treasury under a Democratic administration.
She is a very nice woman, but definitely affirmative action. Sec Treas?!!!!!
She got “moved” out of the FRB bc folks grew worried about her involvement in monetary policy. (Same thing happened to Mark Olsen.) She will not beat out Lael Brainard to be Dep Sec.

He's beloved at home and somehow maintains excellent constituent services while kicking ass on the oversight & judiciary committees and among the top figures in the impeachment process. He is universally respected as a brilliant constitutional scholar and brings no BS. His takedowns of the Trump administration in these hearings have gone viral.
Also interesting is that he is one of the few that brings the progressive and the centrist or establishment wings of the Democratic Party together. He is friends with both Pelosi and AOC. Everybody loves him.
Most notably.... he learned to comb his hair.
Where do you think Jamie is headed? Could he be in the running for a leadership position...or more?
All of the other Maryland congressmen seem like backbenchers compared to him. Including Steny Hoyer, who at 80, should retire since he brings nothing to the table. I'm rooting for Jamie to do something big.
Sorry, I am not particularly impressed with my Rep. Raskin. Too knee jerk liberal for this Democrat. Neither Maryland nor the US needs more TP types.
+1

DC power couple. Did she also go to GDS and Harvard?
The telephone has been ringing off the hook at GDS from people who want to send their kids there so that they can be highly impactful and successful just like Jamie.
The Obamas are planning to have more children so they can finally join the GDS community.
If the Secret Service will let the kids attend GDS. Secret Service intransigence is why the Obamas had to turn down admission to GDS and settle for Sidwell instead. However, the new GDS campus is planned with the security needs of future VVIP families in mind.
