Oh come on guys it’s not that bad. Didn’t the Montessori last say the best place for a child was mostly home all day? As long as the kid has a little yard or driveway or something where she can get some fresh air and sunlight, it sounds fine to me especially since she does go out into the world on weekends.

Yeah that’s odd. Don’t you have your own friends? I made mom friends who had kids and we’d meet up all the time. It got harder when I had two kids but I had several friends who only had one kid so they would usually keep an eye on the older ones while I tended to the baby.

Join a co op preschool I met lots of moms that way

I’d be so depressed.

We go out everyday unless sick.

Once a week we are out all day on a big trip like zoo or something.

But yes, everyday or I get really stir crazy. My kids are 2.5 and 9mo

Or if you really have no energy, enroll her in a preschool a few mornings a week.

When I was a kid we didn’t go somewhere every day, but we did play in the backyard everyday. I also had a sibling for some socialization. If this is your situation, I think it is totally fine to be home more. We don’t have a yard now, so I feel like I must take my kids somewhere if they are not in preschool that day. If we had a yard I would probably stay home more since they are turning into good playmates now.

Please tell me you at least take her outside to play? She needs the vitamin D!
