Hate Season 2. It’s all over the place, too many trendy topics popping up every 5 minutes, new characters not explained, and layers and layers of lying and back stabbing is confusing.
Alex is getting thrown under the bus nonstop too. By people who can’t seem to remember what actually happened season 1. Magnifies the general theme that it’s a terrible place and industry to work in with selfish Aholes playing each other nonstop.
Yes, couldn’t put my finger in it but it’s almost a rush job to nowhere or everywhere.
They started filming S2 before COVID, stopped and restarted. Probably influenced the show and rewriting episodes.

I like the Jen A (quasi)redemption arc and how complex her character is. Mixed feelings about the effort to complicate cancel culture, but it is interesting.

Anonymous wrote:Whoa, episode 8 is the best of the season by far. Excellent writing and acting, especially by Jennifer Aniston and Karen Pittman.

I totally agree. This was actually an excellent hour of TV. It will be the Emmy submission for sure.
