I actually just thought about this on my way home from dropping her off at dance. Her studio is in the same school zone and there is a neighborhood right behind the studio. Assuming there is a stop there she would be able to walk to the studio without going down a busy highway. I'm not sure if schools allow kids to permanently change thei bus assignments to another stop if there not actually going to someone"s home.
You might be able to change her bus stop to the dance studio.
