It was actually created to expand the PWSI DA to age groups aside from U14. The PWSI DA had several ynt call-ups and did not need saving. It exists on the girls side in ecnl and isn’t going anywhere on the boys side although it wouldn’t surprise me it moved to boys ecnl when the DA phases out the non-MLS clubs.

VDA will be gone soon. The club was established to save PWSI's DA and they used the Richmond United model. With MLS club's slowly killing the second tier DA's there will be no reason for it to exist.

The club does not book the referees. There is an assignor that handles the referees for Northern Virginia. Have a great evening. You seem like a really good person. Hopefully your kids don’t talk to you.
You would never see this happen with the DA. ECNL sucks!
youre right. Theyre too busy having teams fly into a city from all over the country and not being prepared with artificial turf fields when a little bit of unexpected snow drops (and then melts within a few hours). those teams that flew in missed games totally.!
Well enjoy your extra trip to NC in the winter because you couldn't secure refs.
