I know it was just custom and not law that we see the taxes of candidates, but is it law that we see the taxes of Presidents (*)?

It will go to the Supreme court before it is finally resolved.

If the ruling had been in favor of Trump, the prosecution would have appealed it.

The stay of the DA's subpoena expires Monday so Trump's lawyer is making sure the judge rules before the stay expires. Trump is so, so desperate to hide his tax returns, it's crazy.

BTW, the judge made a handwritten note closing the docket to any more filings - presumably so he can write an opinion.
