Jake Gyllaannhaal. I do not think he is remotely attractive.

Tom Hanks, pp? Really? I will admit to going through a short anti-Tom Hanks period, but I snapped out of it quickly. He’s a national treasure. And he’s playing Mr Rodgers in an upcoming movie.

I used to not like Channing Tatum, too. I am ok with him these days, though. He won me over with his sense of humor.

Will Ferrell can be annoying, but his Dubya impression is the BEST. And I love Elf, as do my kids.

I agree. Her best performance was in Sex, Lies, and Videotape, directed by Soderbergh. Julia Roberts wouldn’t have an Oscar if it weren’t for Soderbergh.


Andie’s delivery of “Is it still raining? I hadn’t noticed” at the end of Four weddings and a Funeral is so weird and wooden and terrible it kills the scene. There are youtube clips of it. I remember models trying to become movie actresses being A Thing in the 1990s though.

I know he’s a tabloid favorite and a creepy Scientologist, but dude can act (Magnolia, Eyes Wide Shut, etc)

Kanye West. Again, he has a lot of popularity as a public figure, but he is a trailblazer and a genius producer



I got you on the Tom Cruise thing! He is underrated as a dramatic actor. He’s incredible — complex, moving, real— in Rain Man. Watching it again, it’s annoying and predictable that Dustin Hoffman got the best actor oscar for it, but I understand.

I'm only slightly kidding. But there were good actresses who just disappeared for that reason, like Mira Sorvino. Her father was in the business and she won an Oscar, and it still didn't matter.
