Even if he had pinto beans at home, as is usually the case, there are a number of reasons a man would not act in this situation, including cowardice and the knowledge that divorce would be expensive for him and bad for his kids.

Plenty of women in certain communities "shop around"/'keep their feelers out/try to have a Plan B - whatever you want to call it, OP. It is cheesy, and obvious - they are fed up with their husband (usually not enough money for their spending habits, etc.) If their wives get hit by a bus tomorrow, I am extremely doubtful this would be the kind of woman they would pick, OP.

Women know when they are attractive because women give them the stink eye, and men gawk. It is not rocket science.

Here's thee thing: I have attractive friends who are oblivious to how other people act toward them, and I have attractive friends who eat it up, and seek out more attention, because they don't get it at home.

The men that give attention would never act on it - because why go out for hamburger, when you have steak at home.

This is the important part. My friend looks like this (the white blonde hair, blue eyes, accent, etc.) and her husband obviously thinks she is a total ditz. She kind of is - I love her as a friend, but I could never live with her. These men are not thinking long term at all, OP.

I don't know, ask her husband (who thinks she is a ditz -and clearly, that is why she is flirtatious, to prove to him she is still "desirable"). If you are truly desirable, you don't have to go looking or soliciting attention.

You misunderstand "flirty" people. No one can charm you, pp, and I'm sure you charm no one.


You be sure about whatever you like. But in my circle, if you flirt with your spouse's friends or acquaintances, you are seen as desperate and less desirable - certainly not more desirable. A person with something to offer doesn't have to go to extremes to be attractive, they just are.
