I think PP was referring to boys teams.

And on the girls side, let the 03's and above graduate and you'll have an extremely weak club. The younger girls teams at BRYC are abysmal.

You think that. The reality is different.

It really isn't. The performance, even of the 03 team, was poor at nationals. They lost all 3 games 3-0, 4-1 & 4-1. 2 goals for and 11 against is NOT a good record.

04's made the showcase only.

05's & O6's, well you probably shouldn't be hanging your banner on those two. They were abysmal, like I said.

Disagree for Robinson at least (can't speak to the others). Hate practicing there. Try having a schedule when you are on grass and it rains or, they have a football game on Friday night or ...I could go on.

BRYC 2008 girls joining the fun at NCSL. They have their elite/Pre-ECNL team playing up at U13. Should be interesting. McLean 2008 team played up last season and got beat by everyone so they are playing back with their own age group this fall.

+1

Posters are always saying McLean and BRYC will suck when older teams graduate. Wishful thinking

WOW shots fired !!!!!! Every BRYC parent just got that sick feeling in their stomach. What do you mean my kid isn't talented ? Reality check your DS isn't the next Pele .

Does BRYC have a large player pool?
No

Does BRYC produce quality teams?
Yes

So in spite of not having a huge player pool to draw from and being surrounded by McLean and Arlington the club seems to produce quality teams. They do more with less.

It's in Fairfax. I would not argue Arlington is close. Maybe BAC, Vienna, Chantilly, NVSC, SYA - all of which are closer to BRYC.

Sorry, I didn't realize that all of Arlington players lived only in Arlington and that roads don't leave Arlington.

You stated 'surrounded' by Arlington. BRYC is NOT surrounded by Arlington. Nor are they trending up. Next years merger will impact them.

When quality players are looking at DA or ECNL clubs near them they are surrounded by Arlington and McLean, not Vienna.

And exactly what merger?

BRYC teams are not much better than Chantilly or Vienna...sorry to burst your bubble.

Can't spill the specifics on merger. You'll find out. Patience.

I’m taking the bait. What merger?

NPL and boys ECNL

Just a re-branding like the girls npl did.

Maybe on the boys' side, but for girls, BRYC would crush Vienna or Chantilly at any age group.
