I bought a set of delta look cleats to put on my spinning shoes but it turns out my old shimanos (almost 9 years old) don't work with them. I don't want to pay $125 for peleton shoes so I ordered a pair off amazon but they won't be here til Monday. I can wear my husband's peleton shoes but the bigger issue is our bike is so wobbly. The delivery guys sucked, they didn't do any of the stuff that the peleton website says will happen during delivery. They didn't stabilize the bike or check for calibration. They basically just plugged it in and left. Really glad I paid $250 for that. I could've fit the whole thing in my SUV and plugged it in myself, thanks. Now I have to go to home depot and get some plywood to put underneath it (it's on a hard basement playroom floor but there's a thin carpet which I guess is causing wobblyness). Anyway... considering how psyched I was to get this, I'm feeling very annoyed and deflated now , and also grateful for the 30 day free trial.
One more complaint: does anyone else find it really annoying to make adjustments to the seat? We have four potential users in our house and I'm so used to the easy way that spin bikes at the gym adjust, that the need to keep screwing and unscrewing the bolt to raise and lower the seat is bugging me. Will I get over it? (yes, I know, #FirstWorldProblems to the extreme).
There are special $125 “peloton shoes” you are supposed to buy?? Man, you guys are suckers.

I finish on the bike after 60 minutes of Concept 2 (model A, the original, sans monitor/stats) rowing, and about 25 or more minutes using a leg bench doing various things to strengthen my leg muscles and prevent my ankles from swelling: I write first thing in the morning starting at 4AM and continuing on to 8AM or 9. My ankles swell if I don't exercise after writing. Part of my problem is the fold-up chair I sit on when writing/editing but I am superstitious about making any changes to my writing routine. Oh, and I am 74 years young.

We already had a mat so I didn't purchase it from peleton. I will call customer service, thanks. I did fill out the delivery survey they emailed me yesterday but i assume they're not going to contact me in response. I swear I am usually a very low-maintenance person, but the combination of buying such an expensive piece of equipment coupled with the crappy delivery is making me very cranky. I quit my gym membership to be able to justify the expense, and I'm now questioning it.
