It’s such a turn off.
What are you prattling on about now? No one cares about this group — it isn’t a factor and it yields no influence. Also, I suspect YOU are the group and I find it amusing watching you desperately seek validation as everyone tells you we see through your bullshit.
Way to prove my point. You need to take a breath and find a hobby.
- not in the group
I love it when people argue on DCUM, and then tell other people doing the same thing to "find a hobby"
if you think people engaged in this discussion should "find a hobby" then perhaps you should start by taking your own advice. Hypocrite.
I haven’t argued on this topic. I made one comment about how you are coming across. Seriously, this isn’t a good look for you.

I think any parent who stands up and takes personal accountability transparently in opposition should be listened to with respect. Hiding behind bullshit fake organizations and presenting flawed evidence in bad faith is not credible (and undermines any contention that your viewpoint is other than fringe, because otherwise you wouldn’t take such cowardly steps and would have more pride in your convictions.)
Look at how you label any opposition as hateful and bigoted. You’re not interested in a sincere conversation about parental concerns, and it’s easy to imagine that many parents would have a hard time standing up to such abuse. Stand down with your rhetoric, and maybe you’ll hear from more legitimate community members.

I might take the objections more seriously (that is, as raising legitimate issues and not reactionary opposition) if they separated out the issues better. The sports team objections affect few kids, the gym class and pronoun issues affect all kids. The fact that a girl with XY chromosomes might compete against Larla after school shouldn't be a reason to limit kids' access to their curriculum daily.

I'd love to see the methodology on THAT survey.... If it's not simply completely made up, I'm guessing they surveyed their fundamentalist church's kids...
Me too. Given the fundamental dishonesty of the other “evidence” this group (person?) presents, I seriously doubt the “survey” is statistically valid. I also know a lot of APS kids and those results don’t Square with what I know anecdotally about the kids’ attitudes.
