if girls get boring go down to hotel bar alone and pick up a manAnonymous wrote:I really love girls weekends. I need one. I haven’t done one in a few years.

After dinner one night we went into the bar next door as our waiter had said it was the place to go. Within minutes men were buying us drinks and then four of the women hit the dance floor with four guys and the party was on. They didn’t get back to the condo we were renting until around 3 or 4 am and I had no interest in asking them what had happened but it was clear that it was not all innocent fun based on what they said. That may be my last girls weekend.
I've been on dozens of girls weekends and this has never happened. Not even close, and not even when we were single. So you (and others, it sounds like) have a twisted notion of what a girls weekend is. I don't care, since your lack of desire to go away doesn't affect me remotely, I just think people like you who think that a single experience that you had must equal the same experiences that everyone else has are wildly myopic.
PP - I was very surprised too but as I said they were not close friends so I didn't really know what to expect. Like you I can't imagine that being the norm but it sure left a bad taste in my mouth.

Sounds like your friends were on a "whorecation"!
What's wrong with a "whorecation" ? When your get a chance to get away, let loose. DH & I know just not to ask. Sorry if you are offended by that.

PP, does your husband travel for work? Or does that not count, since it's for work? Or does it not count because he's the dad?
