Someone this sexually ignorant should not be having sexual intercourse.

I never have the big O from PIV. This is not the explicit column so I’m not gonna go into details. That said, I had no trouble getting pregnant and I was 39 and 40 when I conceived both of my children naturally. it just takes one to get you pregnant.

. . . d

Read back a few pages. Timing of the O matters, if the theory about the uterus contracting, and the cervix dipping down into the pool of semen, is correct.

If that’s true, then an “O” during PIV is pointless; and what might help is to have your “O” soon after he finishes. Then it might increase chances.

And again, no sane person argues it’s necessary. It’s just maybe something which could help TTC (and doesn’t hurt to try it).

This question makes me think of all the girls who got pregnant via rape. Do you honestly think they had an orgasm? This is so, so wrong. If this is reflection of our education system, this is very sad

You very technically don't even need penetration. Sperm are hardy.

Bwa ha ha.

In Medieval Times, didn’t they believe that it had to pleasurable for the woman (“the little death”) in order for conception? That of course meant that, in their eyes 1) rape resulting in pregnancy was the woman’s fault (see Todd Akin “legitimate rape” comments, ugh 2) if a woman couldn’t get pregnant, it was her fault 3) husbands probably thought they were amazing in bed since the wives had to lie. So much misogyny.

Yes, history and misogyny go hand in hand.

But we luckily have science in 2022, and the issue in this thread?

- does a woman’s orgasm enhance her chances of becoming pregnant? (ie - any scientific proof? ).
