Just FYI, Chinese are not URM (underrepresented minorities) in college admissions, but they are definitely URMs in the corporate world. That's another story.
Being bi-racial gives you more minority points than being Asian or white.
Combo Asian/white does not help the college plug data into helpful boxes (that it reports to the federal govt). So, not a hook.
Didn't say it was a hook. Just said it was more advantageous.
