Well, day 1! I didn’t have any sugar, because I threw it all away.

OP said she binge eats, not that she doesn’t know what a proper serving size is. There is no plate that will save her from inhaling chocolate covered pretzels alone.

I lost 25 pounds and gained it all back (plus some probably but I won’t get on the scale) I lost it the right way, slow and steady but foolishly thought/hoped that I could maintain that lower weight without continuing to diet like when I was younger. So here we go for good 3-5 months of hard work and saying no. We can do it!
Thank you for confirming that it does not matter how fast or slow you lose weight - it's what you do afterwards to maintain your weight. (I am the PP who lost weight on keto and have been maintaining the weight for almost a year.)
I've seen research about it. In fact, it even said rapid weight loss is good for boosting your motivation and keeping you on track. But on DCUM, only 'slow and steady win the race'

OP here and thank you!!!! I get SO OVERWHELMED with the number and how “bad” it is.3 months, though? How do you figure?
I also like that so many people suggested diet over exercise. I just don’t have the time for exercise now. But diet I can do! I think!
