OP again. Apparently the affair ended about a year ago but they were spotted together recently (Thanksgiving) and the husband put together the pieces, asked her about it, and she confessed. Now they don't know what they are doing. I feel so bad for the husband. His own wife humiliated him and Del Ray is a small community. It would have been better if she'd cheated with a coworker
What about the other man’s wife?!! Poor woman. Does she know yet? Do they live there too?

Does anyone know the AP’s wife? Seems like she’s the only one that doesn’t know. As somebody that was the victim of a spouse’s long affair—somebody please do the right thing and le her know. How humiliating for her to be in the dark when the entire town in gossiping behind her back and her kids might find out before she does. She needs to be prepared to handle that with them.

I would just be factual. This is a neighbour. Why does it matter if she knows it was you. Don't tell him she is having an affair, tell him what you have seen and heard with no assumption as to what it means. He can do as he wishes with that objective information. If he knows or they have an open marriage then he will so nothing with it.
It is the affair blowing up the marriage, not the husband being made aware that he is being cheated on.
I wish somebody had told me. I’m disgusted they had unprotected sex the first time they f@cked. And didn’t even know each other IRL prior.
