I did at 36 and 41. Both surprises as we were not trying. I have multiple friends between 40 and 46 that had surprise pregnancies that went full term.

Had first child at the age of 39, no issues with getting pregnant whatsoever. Had a friend, who got married at 38 and got pregnant at 41 and 43 without any problems.

Pregnant within 3 months at 36 and had ds. Flash forward to ttc at 40 and got pregnant right away twice but both miscarriages. Then 3 ivfs and nothing. Did 2 donor ivf and miscarriage. My gyn told me in her office at 39 that fertility goes severely at 40. I remember not believing her, but wish I did.

I'm 41, and conceived naturally. (After a few years of trying unsuccessfully, and then a few more of NOT trying.

Three failed IVF's at 39 (one resulted in a pregnancy that was a m/c). One spontaneous pregnancy at 39 that resulted in a m/c.

One miracle, live, spontaneous pregnancy that resulted in my hearing her heartbeat for the first time on my 40th birthday and her beautifully healthy birth months later.

It was the classic "we're giving up" scenario, complete with planned trips abroad for the first time in our married lives, having an apartment 'in the city' and a house in the mountains, etc., etc.,

13 years later, we still wouldn't have it any other way.

Conceived at 38: TFMR
Conceived at 39: DD1
Conceived at 40: TFMR

Used IVF and donor egg at 42 for my DD2

First month trying with DD at 30 and took 5 months for DS at 37.

A doctor told me that my chances at 37 were 10% each month which I found to be pretty low. But like others have said, over the course of the year, it's actually pretty likely that you will conceive. GL!

Asking for individual feedback on this is not going to be that helpful. Everyone's bodies are different and everyone's chance of conceiving naturally differ no matter what age they are.

+1 After about 6 cycles both times.

Conceived my first at 39 after 3 months of trying and now 5 mos pregnant with second surprise child at 42. One of my best friends is mom to 2-month-old twins conceived naturally at 42 after several failed rounds of IUI

I had my first at age 35 after trying for four years. Then I conceived my second at age 38. I will be 39 when the baby is born, so definitely not impossible. We did not use IVF for either pregnancy.

I had my first at 32 and conceived on the first month of trying. Started trying at 35 for #2 and it took over 2 years to get pregnant. Went to a couple fertility clinics and was told I had severe diminished ovarian reserve and had only a 10% chance of conceiving via IVF, and that I would never conceive on my own. DH and I decided we didn’t want to pursue treatment and we’re fine with just one child. Fast forward and I got pregnant naturally at 38, just had the baby.

Based on my group of friends, most people have 3 kids and the last two were conceived at 35+ naturally with no help. Those that did have issues, at least in my subset, had them with both/all kids. With the exception of one friend I am the only one who went through secondary infertility.
