Convenient for whom? Muldoons is in the boon docks.

So let me get this straight. If a club is “over capacity” then they should still charge the extra families for fees and then use that as justification for keeping unsafe fields instead of setting a max capacity of families and stick to safe fields. Of course in this situation the club is completely without fault. Not to mention the County. Clearly the parents fault.

Does that sound about right?

One might think in left leaning, paternalistic Montgomery County someone might take issue with a large bog being used for children’s soccer. I guess there isn’t enough tax revenue there. But that’s a discussion for another forum.

Why is that flat? If BSC didnt need muldoons because of numbers, would they still use it?

What really keeps muldoons on the BSC resource list? Program overcapacity? I have no insight into BSC so whats the root of program overcapacity, if that’s what it is? is it because parents/players love the training and teams or convenience of location? just curious for an honest answer. I dont know why teams sign up tournaments that include the potential for paying for the honor of playing at muldoons, thats just lazy. skip the tournament or go somewhere else.

We will be back at Muldoon’s for the Potomac tournaments in a few weeks. I’m dreading it!

How many years has the place been used and how much money spent? The fields could be raised or replaced with turf fields.

They are recommending 4 wheel drive but your Prius should be fine.

We are playing at Muldoons at 11 and our manager just told us field is open. We will see when we get there though.

About half of soccerplex is closed or delayed opening today already. No updates on Muldoons yet.

How early will they check the field conditions? My DS has a 9am game tomorrow. That would mean leaving by 7:30 to get the on time. I would be crazy to drive all the way out there for a cancelation . Maybe we will get the 24hr flu Ha !

We are playing on this crappy cow patty field Memorial Day weekend. It's ridiculous. I am sure there will be thunderstorms like last year too.
