If Nathan had the all-encompassing career drive and Kate was the ever-accommodating spouse, always supportive and encouraging of him while still trying to maintain her own career and raise their child. What if she finally got sick of holding everything together on all fronts while he was constantly searching for “self-fulfillment”? What if she was the one who cheated on him? Would you be more understanding in that case?

And the constant hookups with Frankie and other women is ridiculous.
The Frankie storylines were weird and didn’t fit with anything else.
Kate’s work and marriage struggles were aggravating—she can’t seem to do anything other than exactly what she wants to do.
The ending of season 2 surprised me.

I think she finally realized that maybe she can’t keep doing exactly what she wants without considering how it affects her family life. That was a huge wake up call, IMO.
I think that's a shitty way to make her husband being an asshole POS to be her fault. She has a rough/bumpy and yes somewhat selfish period of like 6-8 months and her husband starts banging her best friend's barely adult nanny? I feel like that came out of nowhere.
