WTF?
Great scores and clearly not a cohort issue. Wish ut made more sense.
It has to be a cohort issue. Maybe there were 1-2 outliers 99th percentile everything and higher scores.
PP with the kid with those great scores I echo your WTF.

No ESOL/FARMS/IEP/504, although I truly hope they consider GT/LD for MS because as the aunt of a GT/LD student who kept getting offered placements for the LD but not the GT part, there's a huge need for programs that serve the whole kid.
To PP or future posters who have been accepted -- congratulations! I have an older child finishing at Eastern this year, and another who went through our home middle school and is in high school. Although the older two are different kids with different interests (older is a math science kid, middle is humanities all the way) I can strongly recommend Eastern based on our experience. If all the other factors work out for you and your child, I think the program is wonderful -- my kid had the benefit of not only a strong peer cohort but also a great curriculum and experienced teachers working together to implement the curriculum. The English/social studies program at our home MS is really a joke in comparison -- honors just means grade-level, and there's not a whole lot of emphasis on writing and critical thinking. It's definitely a trade-off with commute time and other factors, but my middle child wouldn't have traded back if she could. I'd go to the open houses for sure before making your decision.

Good luck all!

One of my twins got wait listed for the Math, Science, Computer Science program at Roberto Clemente MS. His scores seem low compared to what some other folks are posting.
Thanks for any thoughts!
