So Ed Buck and Terry Bean are all pretend?
I think I see your problem.
Maybe look into your reading comprehension problem?
Maybe quit saying 2 dead men are of little importance. I totally get why the black community feels they are ignored. Their deaths are completely written off - and it’s extremely evident in this thread.
Again, look into your reading comprehension problem. No one is saying that these deaths are of little importance.
then why did OP put this thread in Politics versus Off-topic where most murder threads go?
Because a wealthy and connected political donor is killing back men. And he’s getting away with it.
Buck is not necessarily getting away with anything. He is being investigated, as he should be. Investigators need to get the facts first.

if a major republican donor were accused of child rape then paid off the victim do you think the msm would have ignored the story ?

Also is there an epidemic of rich white guys killing black men in their apartments and not being charged?
Any other examples? Truly curious.

I actually read this story on CNN. BTW, many Democrats are calling for an investigation here.
This guy is a huge Democratic donor.
NBC has it listed under "politics."
Huff Po has it listed under "politics."
CNN doesn't have it listed because, well, they are CNN and don't report anything even mildly negative about Dems.

Of course if the dude is killing people, 99.9999% of people want to see him tried and convicted and sent to jail.
I don't think the fact that he is a Democratic donor means much of anything here.
We would like to think that, we who are not political influencers and strategists.
Sadly, the 0.0001% remaining have more power than the rest of us. I hope it won't come to that in this case, but is has happened in other cases, and recently too!
I mean, sure, wealthy and/or politically connected people frequently get a pass because of their connections and ability to pay for great legal counsel.
But I think it is really weird to claim rank and file Ds don't care because he's a D. I have no idea who the eff this dude is - never heard of him before today.
I hope if he is involved in these deaths that he is thrown in jail.

+1 Say it louder for the people ignoring it in the back and front.
It’s front page on cnn.com
