This is somewhat related, but am I the only one who feels like the majority of the clothes are not plus size? I used to pick up a few pieces here and there but now when I’m browsing, everything I pick up seems to be a plus size! So I just gave up because it was all mixed up, no organization or signage, etc.

They won't. Have fun in hell. Living with the remodel has been bad enough, totally forgot how bad the parking was with the storage boxes.

I am in Minneapolis, where Target HQ is, so I think we got a lot of the redesigns first. I was in one last night for the first time. I was trying to find hand soap and I never did find it. I found the high-end environmental brand that Target stocks (can't remember the name at the moment), but couldn't find the cheap Up-Up or Dial or whatever. I finally did find the bulk refill soap container back in the place where they put the seasonal stuff and at this time of year is all the stock-up items.

I was also looking for salt and pepper shakers. I never did find the simple glass ones.

I did notice that this store had music going, which I am happy about.

The store was busier than ever so I think we will all adapt and Target may have to tweak things a bit based on feedback. I do think the grocery section is a lot better now. They just need to work on the rest a bit.

They are becoming more like department stores with shops within shops and cut out areas vs the rows of goods with florescent lighting above as we've come to know department stores.

I've never heard any complaints about Target in the past - only since the new remodel. They had a great thing going - everyone I know *loves* shopping there (or did). I hope they get a ton of complaints and revert back to their original model.

It's not complaints but it's doing what they can to fight against online purchasing (mostly Amazon prime). They are trying to create reasons for people to still want to enter the stores. With same-day online delivery on so many things, they can no longer just count on people needing to stop by Target to get essentials for something they need that night. Instead, people can order on Amazon from work and it will be there on the doorstep that night.

The redesign in Leesburg is terrible, the isles are so narrow it is hard for 2 carts to go buy each other. Super annoying

I hate it too. I also shop at the Sterling one and even after the redesign it’s still always disorganized and seems to be eternally picked over.

OMG Yes. Except my Target ( Silver Spring) has some Thermos's with the lunchboxes in the sporting section and some with the cutlery in the kitchen section.

Ours (Mosaic District) has always been like that. The “sporty” thermoses/drink containers are in the sporting goods section and all others are in the kitchen section. Lunch bags have always been in the sporting goods/camping area. When they do the back-to-school section, it’s right near where the lunch bags and thermoses are.
They added a wine/alcohol section to ours and that resulted in them reconfiguring some of the food section. They stopped carrying some of the items I knew I could always find there.

Just went to Reston yesterday, and by the looks of the many shipping containers in the parking lot and the emptying shelves, they are getting ready to do it here too. Ugh.

I still walk in there planning to buy a package of socks, and walk out having spent $100, so they must be doing something right.

Exactly. It's not fun anymore. Now it's a chore. Maybe if we all contact Target corporate and complain, they'll listen. I'm sure people across the country feel this way.

Agree. It takes so long to find what Im looking for I’m in no mood to browse. And the lighting is terrible and you can’t see fromone end of the store to the other to find what you want. Plus I hate the self check outs. They’re rarely staffed and something never works so you just stand there, alone, waiting.

I’m in North Carolina. I’ve started going to Walmart for bulk items. They’ve gotten much cleaner, more organized, and have lots of staffed check out lines.

I have no idea why but the card readers at self checkout always decline my card! There is always ample money in the account and this never happens at the regular checkout but in self checkout the card machines won't read the chip or the swipe and after you try 3x on one machine it will no longer let you attempt to use that card. The first few times I immediately called my bank thinking my account had been frozen for fraudulent activity and absolutely nothing was wrong. Card worked just fine at the next store. I have seen this happen to others trying to use their Red card at my self checkout as well. It makes no sense!

North Carolina here again. I do have to give Target props for a better online ordering experience, though. Amazon 2-day has been a joke for a long time so I started using Target more this past month. I was surprised that shipping was free and fast. Not sure if that was a Christmas shopping thing or an ongoing thing because I have a red card.
