Screw you - you keep trying to sell this story of Obama campaign finance violations as equivalent to Trump's secret payoff of sex workers, but that's totally not true.
Obama's violations were that his campaign received contributions within 20 days of the election, and failed to report them to the FEC within 48 hours of receiving them. The Obama campaign reported them, but just not within 48 hours, so they paid a fine. By contrast, the Trump campaign knowingly and intentionally hid secret payoffs to sex workers. Big difference. "Obama’s civil FEC infractions, while they resulted in a large fine, are legally distinct from what Cohen pled guilty to, which is the intentional commission of felonies intended to affect the outcome of a federal election."

Trump used his own cash. Tell me how incensed you are about the taxpayer slush fund Congress uses to pay off women
Trump doesn't and didn't have "his own cash" to use. He wasn't a billionaire at the time of the election and hasn't been for decades.

Because if it turns out there's no evidence to support collusion, that makes all the rest of Trump's behavior just fine, and perfectly legal?
Some trees called, they have a forest they'd like you to see.
Well, with that logic, I propose that every president be subject to special counsel investigation for the duration of their time in office. Because just because they haven't found any evidence yet that they've done anything illegal, doesn't mean the rest of their behavior is just fine and perfectly legal.
I want to point out the important point that Trump has yet to be found doing *ANYTHING* illegal. Even the potential campaign finance violation is just that - potential.
And libs forget that Obama’s campaign finance violation was very real and he simply paid a fine
Yes Obama’s campaign did indeed violate the law and had to pay steep fines. Let’s remember what the Obama campaign did because it does matter. In the final hectic weeks leading up to the election they did not always meet the 48 hour reporting deadline to report donations in excess of $1000. They did report them but didn’t always make the 48 hour deadline. Sloppy and they were appropriately punished.

Do they realize our national security, our democratic institutions including the truth and the rule of law are at stake? Will they put country over party?
