Mueller says Cohen also provided the special counsel information about "certain discrete Russia-related matters core to its investigation" that he obtained by being in contact with Trump Organization executives.

What are these “discrete” matters? Think any of it involves $$ changing hands?

Tonight’s Mueller filing essentially destroys Trump world story that Special Counsel has only turned up old crimes unrelated to the President. Documents note Cohen contacts with WH and into 2017-2018.


So they are awaiting instructions as to how to spin this. FOX is claiming it's Cohen's problem, but that doesn't mesh with the facts and footnotes of the filings.

Yeah, I'd like to understand that logic. Cohen seems like more of a hapless idiot who got stuck into Trump's nefarious intentions, while Flynn seems like he knew what he was doing...

Most of what they got from Cohen probably came from the documents they seized during the search.

footnote 2: Cohen now admits he "conferred" with Trump "about contacting the Russian government" before Cohen used a radio interview to suggest meeting with Trump and Putin.

Conspiracy to commit a crime is a separate crime from the illegal activity you are conspiring about. Conspiracies involve two or more people. So prosecutors have concluded that Cohen committed crimes under direction of Individual 1. Therefore Individual 1 has committed the crime of conspiracy.
