Don't laugh, but there is some truth to that. Women look at a married man as someone who could make a commitment and be attractive enough to someone.

What does "hit on" mean exactly. Does it mean - "would you like to meet dinner" OR "you look hot" etc OR <staring and elevator eyes> plus trying to shoot the breeze.

"Hit on" is way too vague.

I am guessing the latter two are the ones that women are referring to in this thread.

Yes, totally. Most married men have wives at home who have lost attraction to them. So it's generally much easier for a married man to hit on another random married woman, she is far more likely to want sex with him than does his wife. After all, this random woman is sexually frustrated too because she's bored and rejecting HER husband. It's like a big cycle.

Pp with two co workers that bluntly propositioned me. Knew both of them for years with not even the slightest inclination from me that I was DtF. They are both normal mentally stable women who love to have a good time. Neither of them know that I’ve been with the other of them.

I’m 47 and work with a lot of post grad millenials. I’m in good shape, tall and dress nice and you’d be surprised how much interest is there. I have zero interest in ever cheating or even providing the idea that there might be a shred of interest in return.

With that said, I’m afraid that my days of having girls interested in me is going to come to an end within a year. My doc put me on a med last year and it caused an extreme amount of hair shedding. I’ve been off the med 4 months now and the shedding hasn’t stopped. I’m pretty that I’ll have to go for the bald guy buzz within 6 months. I just hope my wife is still attracted to me.

M/38 - I wear my wedding ring and when I take me kids out (mall, grocery store) without the wife, I get hit on. Taller and avg looking but not Brad Pitt or Sinbad. NoVA has a lot of brazen/desperate women who will go out of their way to talk to me even when I have my kids.

I am the mid-late 30s poster at 12:31. Here is a recent example: I was at an outdoor winery with friend and my DH. I stepped away from the group to wait in line for a drink (alone). A man approach me and started making small talk. Then he asked if he could get my drink, and I declined and returned to my DH and group of friends.
