The sleet/freezing rain/ice line cuts right through DC. Looks like a mess.

Yep, my kids' school has already sent out a notice that they are postponing a special even that was to happen tomorrow night, due to weather predictions.

In 1994, it snowed on thanksgiving day...enough that my new boyfriend and I ended up stuck at my parents and couldn't drive back to college that evening.

I don't know about here, but I grew up thinking snow before thanksgiving was normal in southeastern Michigan back in the late 70s/early 80s. We even had snow for Halloween one year. Then, for what seemed like forever, we didn't have snow for Thanksgiving. Change happens.

It happens here about every 5 years or so, but rarely is it much accumulation. A dusting or some nasty sleet.

I see nothing saying this.

Oh well if you don't see it it didn't happen.

He posted it this morning.

Oh I'm sorry. I'm not in the sticks.

Does where you live affect your ability to see a Facebook post?

I grew up in PA and thought snow during Thanksgiving was perfectly normal. It's even mentioned in "Over the River"

MI PP -- Thank God I'm not the only one.
