How does it work exactly? Will my spouse have an option to get a 'lump sum' in lieu of monthly annuity payments when I retire? And if my spouse chooses the lump sum, do they get that immediately after divorce?

I said I wouldn’t remarry. Then I did. $ wasn’t a part of it either way. Maybe if millions had been on the table.
