Why do they need to go to the ID sessions if they already play for the club and the coaches already know them? If they are top players, they should just get offers without any ID sessions.

VDA came from the DA, so they have some experience with the difference in leave of the league. Loudoun players do not. It's a faster pace of play with a higher level of competition.
My point is that it is way too early to make a judgment on how Loudoun is faring. I would extend that courtesy to any club that is in a new level. I would also give it to Arlington as they are new to the DA.
The DA and ECNL (though not interchangeable) are leagues that play at a much faster, higher level than the next level league down.

Anonymous wrote:FCV parents made these claims last year too and nobody showed up to U12 tryouts. Same will happen in Jan for DA. The Loudoun parents talk and FCV is just not considered that appealing for 07s. You will get a couple to show and that’s it.

If history is any guide next year FCV team will be good and Loudoun team will be not so good.
That’s not how it works.
That's how it worked for the 05s. And Loudoun's 05s were a hell of a lot better than their 07s.
You do know that you are talking to Loudoun 07 parents right? You are trying to tell us what we are going to do. LOL!
Oh, yes, because you will all be making a singular decision collectively!
If parents and players are developing well, feel they can be successful and feel that they will be appropriately challenged and get college exposure exactly what does FCV have to offer? Serious question.
Several of FCV players had youth national teams call ups. Who would impress college coaches more (1) a girl from ECNL team or (2) a girl who was on a youth national team? This might not affect an average player, but it is a draw for very top players.
FCVs new marketing strategy! LOL DCUM Trolling forums for players, what joke. GTF outta here you tool.
These girls earned these call ups. Don't be so jealous!
Not as jealous as you are desperate to be trolling forums trying to recruit players coach
Coach? Don't be so paranoid. National team call ups are earned. But you wouldn't know that.
Anonymous wrote:But the FCV 07 team is not very good. It’s a step down for Loudoun and McLean players. Most players and parents do not want to step down, leave friends, etc. Loudoun has a great reputation, better facilities, better coaches, the ECNL national exposure. Not hard to understand

We would all love to come play for a club that has never beaten any of our 07 teams at any level of play.
FCV 07 beat McLean 3-0
McLean beat Loudoun Red 1-0
These 10-0 games you speak of were literally 2 and 3 years ago. Lol!
