The DC scenes are totally UNrealistic.

The series is good. I finished it last night and hope there's a season 2.

Agreed - liked the show but the “crab house” scene was created by someone who has never had blue crabs. It bugged the heck out of me.

And I didn’t get the subplot with the drone pilot. Did they show what happened to him after he visited the grandfather in the Middle East?

We are to assume he TakSi'd back to the airport and back to Vegas. Man, I felt so bad for that guy-- and he kept winning at gambling.

Honestly I thought someone would kidnap and kill his ass. Guess he really is lucky. I wonder how much drone pilots get paid?

too funny! And well put.

+1 maybe he’s trying to evade surveillance.

So many things were just so stilted about this show. Granted it’s based on actual events, but Looming Towers was so well done. So it’s possible to have realistic tv shows. This was lame to me and I hope Jim from the office doesn’t reprise this role.

They pushed it until I finally watched it and stayed up all night binging it! Really good.

Reminds me of a more 'relaxed' 24 with Jack Bauer...a Jack Bauer who actually has a social life. I also like that the 'potential' wife isn't a bimbo or a SAHM who does nothing but cook and wave him off at the door, she's smart and they really show that.

I felt the same, all the more so in comparison to James Earl Jones. Sigh.

There was also some in ep 2 but I don’t know the extent bc I hit FF. As for ep 3, I kept FF but it went on and on and on.

Meh. I was more offended by the poor geography details in one of the later episodes. The scene opens in a suburban neighborhood as a car pulls into a driveway:
Annandale, MD

Can anyone check the map and the screen graphics???

He works at CIA in Langley and they show him biking to work through downtown DC. That annoyed me. Do people really bike from DC up to McLean?

I caught that too. Long, improbable bike ride from DC to McLean

LOL

My coworker has been biking from Bethesda to McLean for 30 years.

After a session of rowing, cutting through downtown traffic, while looking impeccable in a casual button up and jeans? Lol...don't think so. Anyways, watched the first two episodes and have been hooked so far.

I'm on episode 4 now, and completely hooked. What a great series.

I just saw a big ad for it on this side of a bus in DC

Just...much more believable that he would drive a car. Row... and then ride your bike from there through the city all the way to McLean. Show up to hq. Sure.
